Organization.

1. Number each problem clearly.-

4. Grading. (Daily: 10 pts. / Chap: 20 pts.Selected Problems)

ARTICLE CRITIQUES.

1. See format attached.
2. Due every Day 1 or 8.
3. Accepted early, but never late

LAB WORK & LAB REPORTS.

1. Maturity - Handling of equipment.

2. Due four days after the completion of the lab.

3. Must be typed. (Word Processed)

4. Groups of two to four.

5. Computer Problems are yours, and will not be considered an ---excuses for late Lab Reports.

 

REPORT FORMAT.

Prelab: Typed, and due before the lab is started.

1. Title.

2. Purpose.

3. Procedure Statement. (Paragraph / List)

4. Background. (Vocab. - Formulas - Theory - Variables)

5. Hypothesis.

6. Equipment & Apparatus.(List)

Final Lab Report: (Include Prelab plus items below)

TESTS.


1. Approximately 5 per quarter. (After completion of most chapters.)
2. Test ReDo. (Problem and Vocabulary Sections (1 Point) Only)
---A. May Use: Notebook, Worksheets, Homework, Lab Reports, and text book.
---B. Approximately 30 minutes, (Possible Take Home), to make corrections.
---C. May regain one half of the deducted points.


BOOK COVERS:

Both text book and lab manual MUST be covered immediately and REMAIN
covered throughout the year. ( Book Quizzes when you most don't want it !)


ABSENTEEISM , TARDINESS , EARLY DISMISSAL

1. All work missed due to extended absence must be made up within ONE WEEK.
2. Work you are aware of, due on a day you are absent is due the day you return.
3. Make up periods (Labs etc.) must be scheduled with me after school. (Free Period)

4. Work missed and not made up will result in a ZERO for the assignment.
5. Tardiness to class / Early dismissal.

GRADING METHOD:


During each quarter you will submit a large number of assignments. (25 - 35) Some are worth more points than others,but all are an important part of your grade. These assignments can be divided into the two categories below:
