Jennifer L. McCurdy

Ms. Jennifer McCurdy is the Principal at Deans Mill School. Ms. McCurdy received her Bachelors degree in Elementary and Special Education at Providence College and Masters Degree in Guidance & Counseling from Providence College. Most recently, Jenn received her Administrative Certification through Sacred Heart University. Ms. McCurdy started her teaching career at Deans Mill School as an elementary classroom teacher. She has also served in other roles in Stonington as Mystic Middle School Principal, Director of School Counseling, and School Counselor.
Ms. McCurdy loves being a part of the Deans Mill School community. She believes in the importance of meeting all students where they are and moving them to be successful not only academically but also socially. Outside of school, Jenn enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her families.
Kristen Oliverio

Mrs. Kristen Oliverio is the Assistant Principal at Deans Mill School. Mrs. Oliverio received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development Family Studies at the University of Connecticut and Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education at Eastern Connecticut State University. Kristen received her 6th Year Degree in Administration at Central Connecticut State University. Mrs. Oliverio has taught at both Deans Mill and West Vine Street Schools as an elementary classroom teacher. Most recently, she was the Stonington Elementary Curriculum Coordinator and worked with staff at both elementary schools.
Mrs. O. is thrilled to be back at Deans Mill School. She believes that making connections and forming strong relationships is extremely important in helping every child to see their potential and continue to grow. In her free time, Kristen enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and going to the beach.
