School Closings
Stonington Public Schools communicates alerts about school closures, delays and early dismissals to parents/guardians of students enrolled in ParentSquare.  

In the event of inclement weather or other school closure, the following stations will broadcast school closing/delay notices:

TV Stations:

• WFSB (Channel 3)
• WTNH (Channel 8)
• WVIT (Channel 30)
• WTIC Fox News

Radio Stations:

• WBMW 106.5
• WWRX 107
• WPRI CBS Channel 12
• ABC6/WLNE-TV Chanel 6
• WBLQ. 88.1

Some of these stations have a SMS Text Message subscription service, where you can be notified about school closures via text.
